OPTOFONIC®

OPTOFONIC, the perimetrical security system designed and produced by POLITECNICA sa, is the latest of a series of microphone/frictional electricity/geo-phonic systems aimed at protecting fences or walls or areas through underground sensors.

An appropriate fiber optic cable has many advantages, such as:

  • versatility, flexibility, easy installation;
  • insensitivity to electromagnetic and radio-wave frequency interference;
  • insensitivity to climatic/atmospheric changes;
  • dielectric sensor which is not identified by metal detectors;
  • particularly suitable for places with a high explosion risk.

Thanks to its high flexibility, the OPTOFONIC system can be used in many ways:
- as a microphone sensor to be integrated in netting, fences, concrete or brick walls;
- as an underground sensor in lawns, yards, gravel pits, even carpets and rugs.
